I was listening to one of my fave records of all times this weekend; Black Rebel Motor Cycle Club’s Howl and I always look at that simple cover and think WOW, that is some nice typography. So why not feature the font from the cover.
The font is called Giza and was designed by David Berlow around 1994. The style dates back to Vincent Figgins’ specimen from 1845 when this heavy style was introduced on posters.
