By now you’ve probably figured out that I am a big fan of Swedish design studio BvD. But I haven’t showed you one of my fave projects which is the Electrolux design from last year. If you can make a designer WANT a vacuum cleaner then I figure you’re doing a pretty good job with the design. AND I WANT THIS! Stupid thing is that I already have the exact same one but in an ugly purple colour which was the only one available before BvD came along.

Check out the productline Sélection from Swiss supermarket chain Migros. The line is designed by Swiss agency Exxtra Kommunikation and I came across this line when I was recently in Luxembourg (which is heaven for a packaging designer). The clean packaging makes these pruducts stand out but to me they don’t look pretentious, just clean good products.
