Inspiration Lab

I happened to surf right in to Sumo Design’s website yesterday and stumbled across their work for Gallery North. I was surprised to see how much ressemblance there was to Danish deli chain Meyers Deli. I don’t think there’s any chance that Sumo saw Meyers but it’s just funny how close some things get and how two unrelated designers can have the same idea. It just shows you how important it is to seek inspiration outside the graphic design business too, so everyone doesn’t end up doing the same thing.
