To celebrate the cinematic experience Philips announced the Parallel Lines Competition a while back. The competetion focuses on telling a story with fixed lines your way. The lines are: “What is that?”, “It’s a unicorn”, “Never seen one up close before”, “Beautiful”, “Get away. Get away” and finally “I’m sorry”.
So what can you do when the lines are already fixed, you might think, well you can do a hell of a lot. Just look at how different the top ten videos are http://www.youtube.com/philipscinema. Be sure to vote!
One of my faves is definitely “Honey Moon” but I also happen to know the creators so I might be a bit biased. Congrats to Tine and the boys for kicking ass and making it into the top 10 selected by BAFTA, Ridley Scott and Philips.
