At the beginning of 2009 Karl Lagerfeld predicted that BLING was dead. The financial crisis made way to a new sense of style that Mr. Lagerfeld called “The New Modesty”. I think he was absolutely right then in foreseeing that the crisis would have impact on the way we dress and style over all. So maybe we can take one of the latest trends as a sign of the crisis coming to an end? Either way, there seams to be a trend in bling-ing up perfumes at the mo. Am I the only one who thinks the Michalsky and the Marc Jacobs scents look very much alike? A coincidence?
