The third series of the Six Scents fragrances is now out. I’m not quite as fond of the packagaing for this series as the two prior but it’s still pretty damn cool. See for yourselves!
See series 1 and 2.
For some reason I keep coming across really cool chocolate, it’s quite bad for my weight! But must show you Chocolate Editions cause they did a chocolate pie chart which is super cool. Great way to suck up to your info graphics teacher :-) All their chocolate bars have really nice and simple patterns too.

Here’s a series of theater posters by Sullivan Perkins I like how they ressemble old Penguin book covers but in a new setting. The illustrations are really cool and altough diverse they’re all tied together by the colour scheme.

The illustrations by Richard Perez put me in a really good mood last night (accompanied by a glass of red, but still). I love his characters and it’s lovely that his illustrations have a big of texture.
See more of his work on his Flickr account.
If I say there’s a place called “Chocolate Research Facility” what do you say? Dreamjob? Yep, me too! But this is actually a shop/café in Singapore and the Singapore based studio Asylum did the visual identity for it all the way from the shop interior to the packaging. Look how yummy it is!

I was so happy when I came across German agency Strichpunkt. They do such a variety of work and do everything excellently. They recently won a Red Dot award for their dynamic identy for the Ruhrtriennale. Below you see just a bit of it but there are loads of different posters. They also worked wonders on posters for paper company Scheufelen.

Yes yes yes, you’ve probably had more than enough to drink over Christmas and New Year’s but I just have to show you one more alcohol related post, so enjoy a drink with your eyes instead of your mouth. A group of Icelandic design students did this line of beer as a student project and I think it turned out really good.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!! I wanted to do a round up of cool champagne bottles to wish you all happy new year but it just so happens that there aren’t actually that many attractive champagne bottles out there! Very strange! It seams champagne bottles/labels hasn’t undergone the same revolution as other wine. So here’s one of the heavyweights in winepackaging for you instead. Australin studio Mash has done SO many great designs.
