I somehow ended up on the blog of Korean Spunky Zoe and was a mixture of creeped out and amazed. I just love these drawings but I think I might have nightmares if I look at them too much.

There seams to be a levitation trend going on in photography, both pros and amateurs seam to be doing this. I was however quite amazed when I came across the Japanese photo blog Yowayowa, a girl doing levitation portraits of herself. I love that she does this everyday, and I love the description of the content on her blog “Photographs mainly levitating self-portraits (and cats not levitating)” what a great mixture :-D Enjoy!

I think if it’s possible to talk about a font being sexy (you know what I’m talking about right?!?!) then this is it. I don’t know if it’s the name that makes me think lingerie or if it’s just the crazy yet strangely attractive curves but this baby is HOT. I have no idea what to use it for though, I just like it.

Vivian Maier

I came across the most amazing TV feature over the weekend, the story of Vivian Maier, who is believed to be one of the first extensive street photographers. It’s a fantastic story, Vivian Maier was a nanny but had a keen interest in photography. There is no indication that she had any formal training as a photographer but as you can see she was a natural talent and always had a camera with her. Her more than 100.000 negatives were found by John Maloof in 2007 at a fleamarket and when he started scanning them, this treasure emerged. WOW! Sartorialist eat your heart out! ;-)

Uhhhh! Yesterday there was a newsletter in my mail that I actually rejoiced getting. It was Taschen telling me that there’s a new Mark Ryden book out (LOVE him!) and I can get my hands on it for a mere 800€….huh? Yes you read correctly. Well, it is part of the collector’s edition so quite pricy and a little out of my range. But I can dream looking at these spreads from the book. If any of you guys have that kind of money go here. The rest of us can still enjoy his work at http://www.markryden.com
