I came across a few collage pieces by New York based Charles Wilkin a.k.a Automatic Art & Design. I love his personal work, really well executed compositions and lots of texture and contrast.

At day Alejandro Chavetta is the art director at San Francisco magazine, at night he is a collage super hero. Just look at the compositions below. I love the simplicity and the texture that comes from using old clippings.
See more work from Alejandro on Behance or his Cargo Collective page.
I recieved a tip to check out illustrator David Fullarton (Thanks George!) and I was not disapointed! GREAT collages, with a mixture of drawings, doodles, different scraps of paper and handwriting, not to mention a devious sense of humour.
See LOTS more in his Flickr set.
I’ve featured Mario Wagner before but he’s quite a productive gentleman and very good at updating his website with current work. He’s a collage artist and does excellent work with colour and structure.

Check out Mario Wagner, he’s an illustrator from Germany doing wonderful collage style illustration.
I love the retro 50′ties style commercial inputs and there’s a wonderful sence of form and composition. There are also some really exciting installation pieces done with collage and lights.

Julien Pacoud is another wonderful collage artist. He was recently in Copenhagen to exhibit but sadly I did not catch his show bu-hu :-(

THS is short for Thomas Schostok, a great German collage artist. Be sure to check out his “Gluebooks” they are a collection of notebook style books brimming with collage compositions. I envy the productivity!
