I came across a series of covers for Australian Vogue today celebrating their 50 year anniversary. I think it’s quite a bold statement not to have a photo on the cover but instead have four diffeernt illustrations of Cate Blanchett done by illustrator David Downton. I think it’s retro and modern at the same time and therefore a wonderful reference to the anniversary.

Following up on yesterday’s black letter theme today’s contribution is New York Times Magazine T. I have loved this magazine since I went to visit Janet Froelich at New York Times with my class in 2006 and I have been collecting covers ever since. They’re just amazing! Understandably Janet Froelich and her team has won numerous of awards for their work with T.
