My goodness! It’s been a busy week and weekend. We had admittance test at work so I had to work all weekend, but it was fun seing all the young talented people applying. But let’s get back to the inspiration. I came across UK illustrator Own Gildersleeve who does GREAT things with paper. I do always love things that are done by hand and combined in the computer. Great work!

Bovey Lee is a paper artist from Hong Kong currently based in Pittsburgh. She does wonderful intricate cutouts and I just can’t wrap my mind around how much precision and patience this must take. Very impressive! I also love the spatial feel you get from the shades on the wall behind the cutout.

Ho ho ho….I trust you all had a merry Christmas and hopefully loads of great presents too, maybe infact the perfect present. If you didn’t don’t worry you can dwell on these Christmas ads from UK department store John Lewis for a bit. The amazing papercut lettering was done by illustrator Kate Forrester.
