Was totally blown away when I saw this series of posters by Chinese designer More Tong. I think they are so dramatic and contrastful and I really admire the skills behind drawing these characters. They just seam so much more complicated than our silly little alphabet don’t they? Fab work!

I do love when I come across talented people from Denmark whom I didn’t know cause it means that there are just SO many talented people out there to discover, even in my own country! One of these discoveries is Anne Sofie Madsen. If you’re a fashion addicts you know her work from that field but she is also an AMAZINGLY skilled illustrator. I just love how her work is so raw and a little gloomy but at the same time super pretty and elegant. A new fave!

Ohh how I just LOVE to see work like this. This is the stuff that I wish I saw much more of from my students, experimenting and getting their hands dirty. Unexpected great stuff always seam to happen when you go out on a limb. It’s made by pouring various coloured liquids over a transparent lasercut sheet of plexiglass. It looks amazing! Now don’t just sit there, go get your hands dirty! You have a whole weekend in front of you to do it! ;-)

Look at the pretty collages and paper experiments by young designer Lisa Hedge. I really love the one with the holes from a holepuncher because I love when tools that everyone can use are utilized in a creative way. She’s also done some beautiful lettering and illustrations.

There is something about the alphabets by Jacopo Severitano that I LOVE. I just gave an interview on current trends pinpointing a kind of modern ornament in a monoline style and his work is totally it. Check out the Hecatoncheir project too.

I do love when things are done in actual life and not just photoshopped. I guess Pierre Delort’s work is a bit of each, or he’s just that FREAKING good! ;-) I think these pieces are immaculately done. Love it!

I find the work by Polish designer Edgar Bąk pretty interesting. That’s not to say that I like it all equally but I do love when work can piss me off a little because that is so much better than being indifferent. Just love the stuff below though.
