Wow! I’ve had a hard time shutting up about it, but it’ official now. I just got word that I won an award at the HOW International Design Competetion with my YOLO piece. I’m super proud about it, because it was the first piece I did after I quit my job. Goes to show that taking chances works. Please remind me when I have doubts.

YOLO ya’ll!! :-)

Phew! This running my business thing is hard work! That is not me complaining though, it feels GREAT to be busy with stuff that is all connected to doing my own thing, whether it’s taxes (you did NOT hear me say that!) or designwork. But yesterday I needed a few hours to play. A friend of mine who’s having some man problems was on my mind. She is the most stylish woman I know, at the same time she is kind and warm and being told she is superficial because she loves fashion is definitely NOT true. So I made her this to remind her. You can play the logotype guess game with this one, if you know the logos, you can join our club of warm hearted fashion lovers ;-)

Yes yes, I may get in trouble with the BIG BRANDS but at least I’m doing good!

I’ve started a project called Jackass2000 which is rooted in the all time heavy weight champion of the most stupid insults I ever got. And here’s the first piece in the series. I guess it says something like “Thanks for all your shit bitch” but it’s much “lovelier” in Danish!

So when you get such an original sentiment thrown in your face you really must immortalize it. After all you don’t hear bullshit like that everyday. So here it is, with all the dedication it should have had in order for me to take it seriously. Let me quote the Twitter Will Ferrell: “I WOULD PUNCH YOU IN THE FACE BUT I DON’T WANT MY HAND COVERED IN ALL THE SHIT YOU TALK”…besides, this is much prettier! And I’m so good at crochet now.

You’re so very welcome Jackass2000!

My two kick ass colleagues Kat and Kej did a Christmas greeting project called “Little Baby Jesus Project“. The project is about alternative nativity scenes and they asked a handful of people to make their version to get the project rolling. You can see my contribution below, the TRUE story! ;-) So now it’s time for all of you to find that Christmas spirit and make your own nativity scene for the project.
