This week I’m gonna do something different. There are so many iconic graphic designers in the past who still deserve attention for their groundbreaking work. That’s why I’m gonna do a week of my fave old-timers here on Inspiration Lab.
First up is Saul Bass (1920-1996), American designer and filmmaker. Saul Bass has made lots of work that is etched in to graphic design history among others title sequences for Hitchcock. But there are also loads of fantastic posters and logos. I am also a HUGE fan of his childrens’ book Henri’s Walk To Paris. Every graphic designer with kids should have this book, and make their kids appreciate great work from the get-go.
