Just came across this project by huge idols of mine, the fabtastic Non-Format. They are quite possibly my fave studio in the world! (uhhh!! BIG words!!) Just look at this brilliant news paper project, so bold and yet also with an elegant and classic touch. WOWSA!

I’ve started a project called Jackass2000 which is rooted in the all time heavy weight champion of the most stupid insults I ever got. And here’s the first piece in the series. I guess it says something like “Thanks for all your shit bitch” but it’s much “lovelier” in Danish!
So when you get such an original sentiment thrown in your face you really must immortalize it. After all you don’t hear bullshit like that everyday. So here it is, with all the dedication it should have had in order for me to take it seriously. Let me quote the Twitter Will Ferrell: “I WOULD PUNCH YOU IN THE FACE BUT I DON’T WANT MY HAND COVERED IN ALL THE SHIT YOU TALK”…besides, this is much prettier! And I’m so good at crochet now.

I came across a fun project initiated by Type Directors Club which you can all do, a little creative challenge just for fun. This project set out to visualize sayings from Chinese fortune cookies in type and I think it’s such a sweet idea. Some great designers/illustrators/type directors have participated. Here are my faves by David Pearson, Niels Meulman, ilovedust and Mario Hugo.

So how many times have you thought “I wish I lived in France!”? It’s the food, the wine, the good movies, the sexy underwear etc. right? And now, it’s also the supermarkets! Cause Monoprix has launched this line of private label products that is just to die for, it’s any type nerd’s wet dream! Just LOVING it! I think it was done by Cleo Charuet for Havas but it’s a bit tricky to figure out the exact order of things. By whoever it is: GREAT JOB!
