Just a quick reminder that you should DEFINITELY attend the CPH Design 2011 conference. It will be a magnificent day with lots of my big heroes speaking. Don’t miss!
See more about the conference. Here’s just a little taste of a few of the speakers.
I don’t know much about Adam Hill except that he’s from Cape Town, South Africa. Anyway, his work speaks for itself right? I would however like to know what his company name Velcro Suit refers to :-)

Here’s some pretty compositions by Norwegian studio Oh Yeah. I really like the simple shapes combined with a bit of texture.

Have fallen in love with the work of Klub 7, a Berlin and Halle based design/illustration collective. I love the various styles and media in the work coming from there. I wish they’d do a wall art piece somewhere near me.

Thumbcrumble is UK designer Dan Buckley. I came across his visual identity for himself and really liked the playful colours and vibrant patterns. It’s approachable, but yet visibly designed.

Here’s New York illustrator Sara Blake and she rocks with watercolours and textures. Very jealous of her drawing skills!

I really love to find cool studios from my other home country, Finland. That’s why I was really happy to come across Bond a multidisciplinary set up based in Helsinki. Their identity for Pino is really lovely, the colours work so well when you see the overall collection of elements.

I do SO envy people who can really draw, cause I can’t draw to save my life. It looks so effortless to these people, just watch this video with illustrator Tony Riff just doodling away and ending up with these wonderful quirky characters. Love it!
